Vintage Patchwork Quilt - Old Shirting Blocks
This is an authentic vintage quilt from the Pocono Mountains in Pennsylvania.
It is a beautiful, handmade quilt created from vintage shirting and feedsack fabric.
The quilt is lightweight and in decent shape.
There is minor discoloring and one thinning spot- please see photos.
Some fading near the center and a slight discoloration where it had been folded.
It has been hand washed in perfume free and dye free detergent and dried in the fresh country air.
It measures 71” x 72”
This quilt is just as pretty on the backside!
Your quilt ships free (sorry, US shipping only) the next business day via USPS ground advantage.
USPS estimates 2-5 business days.
I suggest spot washing or hand-washing this quilt.
Squeeze, don’t twist (this can break stitches) until fairly dry.
Lay flat to finish drying. Once it’s not heavy with water, it may be line dried.
If you will be storing it or displaying it folded, periodically refold in a different direction to avoid fabric damage.
Avoid prolonged exposure to sun to avoid fading and wear.
