There are some minor border yellowing and a small block with sun damage (see the last two photos), but no physical damage such as holes, tears, or fraying.

Amazing historical colors make this a great display piece.
There is discoloration throughout as is common for a quilt this age. I feel it adds to the charm and authenticity of the piece. It has only one spot of wear (see photos of the small hole near the border)

I have hand-laundered this piece (that was a chore!) and dried it in the fresh air and sunshine.

The interior measurement is approximately 8-9” across.
The thicker quilts make better wearable hats, but all would look adorable!

Jackets
It’s a soft summer weight, perfect for celebrating during cool evenings.
Entirely hand stitched with love in every detail.
Measures: 23.5” long, 20.5” shoulder to shoulder, and sleeves 24”
This is made from a very old quilt piece.
There may be signs of age and wear.
There are pink basting stitches that I have left in place. They may be removed without damage to the jacket. I have left them in place for authenticity.
Dry clean only.
Cut from antique linen grain sacks, this piece carries the texture and character of its past use. The interior and pockets are fully lined in antique blue and white ticking, adding durability and a quiet, considered contrast.
The shape is simple and functional, with a relaxed fit and brass snap closures.
A one-of-a-kind piece shaped by use and history, designed for everyday wear and to soften further with time.

The entire jacket has been bound with a soft salmon and rust batik print.

Please be aware that this quilt is very old- there are some spot with fraying and missing patches as well as some discoloring. I believe this adds to the charm and authenticity of the piece.
