This quilt is unique- I have never found one with an inset panel.
This has such a wonderful crinkle and beautiful drape.
Hand-stitched and hand-quilted with machine binding.
It would be a stunning and unique display piece for the autumn, or anytime.
Lightweight and in perfect condition.
Note the tiny embroidered hearts around the border and the stunning folk art motifs that are common to rural Pennsylvania (where the quilt was collected).

This is an authentic vintage, handmade child’s quilt.
It is made of 100% crisp, white cotton and deep red sashing. It has been intircately hand-quilted at around 10 spi. The embroidery is also done by hand by a true craftsman.
It feautures 20 seperate embroidered blocks, each with a different subject.
Some of the subjects include:
wildlife and nature
a little girl doing chores, playing, and praying
the letters T,L,F,A
Most of the embroidery is red, but there are hints of pink (not faded, but done intentionally) on block 1 (the flowers), 2 (a girl washing), block 7 (“T” and a train), 13 (bird singing), block 15 (only the apples, not the letter “A”) —blocks counted from left to right and top to bottom as you would read.

This one-of-a-kind pillow cover was made from an antique Ceresota Milling Co flour sack.

This one-of-a-kind pillow cover was made from an antique Colonial Salt sack.
Amazing indigo typography that reads: “ Evaporated Colonial Coars Medium Salt” on the front. The back reads: The Colonial Salt Co., Akron, Ohio. Net Weight 100 lbs.
I have pieced the back together with a welt seam using pieces of the original sack in order to keep the entire piece authentic.
The front and the back have been quilted (by me) with soft organic cotton batting and unbleached muslin inside.
