This is a handmade chore coat.
I created it from a vintage quilt that had seen better days- now known as a “cutter.”
These were the best parts left from the quilt.
The inside is given some extra structure (as is typical of a chore coat) with some antique grain sack pieces.
The coat measures 24.5” long (neck to hem)
Shoulder to shoulder 18”
Pit-to-pit 23.5”
Hip/swing 46.5”
It features two oversized kangaroo style pockets and 5 brass snap closures.
I suggest spot washing or hand washing and laying flat to dry.
Fresh air and sunshine are great to freshen it up.
Do not clean in a machine.
