Vintage Handmade Feedsack Log Cabin Quilt

$299.00

This is an authentic handmade, vintage log cabin quilt.

Made of 100% cotton in old shirting and feed sack cloth.

It has been hand-pieced and hand-quilted using the most delicate, tiny stitches.

Log cabins are generally made from darker fabrics, so this one is unique with the use of the bright and colorful feed sack cloth.

It measures 87” x 88”- an extra large quilt.

In amazing shape except for some border fraying and two small areas of discoloring- please see the last three photos for any flaws.

The quilt has been gently laundered in perfume-free and dye-free detergent and dried in the fresh country air and sunshine.

Your quilt ships free *(US only) the next business day via USPS Ground Advantage.

USPS estimates arrival in 2-5 business days.

I suggest spot washing or hand washing, or hanging on the line or in the grass to freshen it up.

If you submerge in water, squeeze, do not twist or wring out excess water as this can break delicate stitches.

Once dry enough to not be heavy- hang on a line to dry.

Sun can freshen it up, but prolonged exposure to sun may fade fabrics and deteriorate cloth.

If you will store or display it folded, periodically refold in a different direction to prevent damage to the cloth.

Do not store or display in direct sunlight as this can cause sun fading and damage.

This is a handmade quilt, which means it’s one-of-a-kind.
