Reserved for CJ-Vintage 1950s Checkerboard Quilt
This is an authentic, handmade vintage quilt.
It is made of 100% cotton in old shirting and calicos.
This is a checkerboards pattern with lots of lovely hand stitching in a soft blue thread.
The quilt is in nearly mint condition with only one small spot (see last photo).
It is light and airy, but still has lots of loft and squishiness!
It measures 65.5” x 89”
It has been laundered in perfume-free and dye-free detergent and dried in the fresh country air.
This quilt could be machine washed on gentle, but i suggest line/air drying to preserve the fabric.
Your quilt ships free (US only) the next business day via USPS Ground Advantage.
USPS estimates delivery in 2-5 business days.
If you will be storing or displaying your quilt folded, I suggest refolding in a different direction from time to time to prevent fabric damage.
Fresh air and sunshine are wonderful for freshening up this quilt, but prolonged exposure to sun (even inside) can result in sun fading and fabric damage.
Becuase this is a handmade piece, it is a one-of-a-kind and will never be duplicated.
