This beautiful quilt made the perfect jacket. Lightweight, yet sturdy.
The stars are made from a combination of vintage feed sack cloth and shirting.
The entire quilt has been hand-quilted with thick embroidery thread in the most stunning shade of pale blue.
I have bound the jacket in a blue floral binding created from a vintage feed sack.
The jacket has a softly curved, feminine collar and pockets.
Layer for winter warmth, but can be worn in the warmer months to keep off chilly spring or summer evening air.
This pattern did not come with sizes, but rather letters from A-L. This jacket is a “J”. Sizes are not universal, so please go by your body measurements.
The bust and hip measurements are the maximum allowance.
Because this jacket was created from a vintage quilt, you may find areas of wear or discoloration. There are no large areas in this jacket, but please view the photos.
