This is an authentic, vintage log cabin quilt.
It is handmade of vintage plaids and ginghams, which I believe to be old shirting.
The backside is just as sweet with a flower and checker motif.
It has been machine quilted and is so sweet.
The quilt has places of wear and discoloring, but it is still intact enough to be used over a sofa or to display folded. There is one small hole near the center (see last photo).
Measures 69” x 71”
I suggest washing on a delicate cycle and line/air drying to preserve it for as long as possible.
Fresh air and sunshine are great to freshen it up, but prolonged exposure to sunlight can cause fading and fabric damage.
If you are storing or displaying it folded, I suggest refolding in a different direction from time to time to prevent fabric damage.
Because this is a handmade piece, it is one-of-a-kind.
