This one-of-a-kind pillow cover was made from an antique heavy woven sack made by the Bemis Company.

Bemis was an industrial agricultural supplier of heavy woven bags for products like flour, grain seeds, and sugar. They were known to hold up to 100 lbs without splitting.

It measures 17” x 17” unstuffed and is shown here with an 18” x 18” feather-down insert.
