A beautifully preserved antique Lone Star quilt dating to approximately 1915, with a documented history through the Quilt Heritage of Washington State.
The quilt was purchased in Illinois in 1975 and then brought to Washington State in 1987 when its owner relocated.
The maker is unknown.
Measuring 70” x 82”, this stunning quilt features a classic Lone Star desing in rich and bold colors and is set on a stunning pink background.
It has been hand-pieced and hand-quilted at 6-7 spi
The documentation will accompany the quilt when purchased.
The quilt is in excellent condition with a few very minor flaws: an area of sun fading, two tiny spots, and one small area with a blue discoloring. No structural damage or flaws.
I have photographed it inside and outside to get a true feel for the colors.
